No school!
Came downstairs this morning to discover that three to five inches of snow had fallen in our garden overnight, and it was deeper on the road. Most of Bristol's shut down -public transport's gone out the window, and at least a few of the main roads are ankle-deep in slush, so it's walk where you're going or drive at about six miles an hour.
I usually walk to school, but I flatly refuse to travel through three or more inches of snow when it's still snowing. So it was a relief when our head teacher's daughter called my sister to say that our school's shut for today.
